This program provides peer support and guidance for children in the Niagara Region who are having some difficulty coping with the death of a loved family member or friend. Service is provided by trained volunteer facilitators who coordinate a peer support program for children six to twelve years of age. This program provides a therapeutic environment in which children are free to share their feelings and experiences with others their own age.

Communication is facilitated through a variety of child centered activities. Referrals may be made by anyone including teachers, family members, health care professionals, Home Care, clergy, friends or neighbours. Programs are offered twice a year - in the spring and fall. Registration is required. There is no fee for services.
